As I watched the Opening Ceremonies from Beijing, I couldn't help but feel a real connection with the athletes who represent the places where our Silver Gallery jewelry is made:  Nepal, Bali, Jaipur, Mongolia, Mexico, Thailand, Peru, Hong Kong and the United States!  We are bringing you the world!

If you are looking for Gold Medal-worthy design (or shall I say Silver Medal-worthy?)....I am tickled to be launching our first ever Silver Gallery Designer Trunk Show on HSN.com.  Be sure to browse the pages and examine the photos of these one-of-a-kind designer creations.  There are many talented designers represented - each with his or her own personal style and flair!  Because there is only "1" of each item, if you see something you love, (just like a star athlete) go for it!!   Ok, I admit it....I consider shopping a sport...

One designer to watch is Amy Kahn Russell. Amy is a prolific artist and her background in drawing, sculpting and painting is beautifully reflected in her jewelry collection. She has collectors from all over the world and her pieces are featured in numerous galleries and museums. Hi Samantha and Denise!  I truly appreciate your feedback regarding the HSN.com Trunk Show!  The Trunk Show event was a way for our designers to showcase some of their high-end, one-of-a-kind designs.  Each of our designers sells his or her jewelry in fine jewelry stores around the world and they were excited to show you some of their "high jewelry" pieces. We only had about 70 items for the Trunk Show and we were delighted to see that most of our pieces sold out!   Even if you didn't shop for anything in the Trunk Show....Just like a fine art gallery - it's fun to "window shop".  

We have our next Silver Gallery this Sat. at 12:00 noon eastern....If you look on HSN.com you will find we have items priced from $10 to $400.

Hey, Krys in Georgia - here's the scoop on your new Scoop watches.....The 5-year warranty basically covers the inner working of your watch.  In other words, if there are mechanical problems with  your watch, the manufacturer will fix or replace it.  The warranty doesn't cover scratches to the band, lost crystals from the face, etc.   If you need to have the watch cleaned, the battery replaced, new crystals sent or extra links for more length, the warranty information will show you who to contact and how much it will cost for these minor things (a new battery is $3, for example).  Hope you love your new watches - with three of these beauties it's "shine time" for you, Krys!
 
Hello Abi!  Nice to hear from you!  Yes....We have more beautiful Tigers Eye in the works.  We have many new Tigers Eye pieces coming in for November and December.  Amy Kahn Russell will be bringing us a gorgeous collection featuring Buddha in Tigers Eye for her November visit, and I will be showing you some brand new CL by Design Tiger's Eye in December.  I am fortunate to get to work with a team of talented people to help bring my CL by Design jewelry to life!!   Finally, I love my job as 'Show Host' on  HSN and I plan to continue to be a host for years to come!!
 
Linda in NY, thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding Hassan Bounkit designs.  To understand Hassan's work, you need to know a little more about his fashion background.  Hassan was born in Casablanca, Morocco and studied fashion in Montreal and Florence.  He's worked with many prestigious fashion designers including the couture houses of Salvatore Ferragamo and Merella Ferrera in Italy.  He's also worked in New York City at the fashion houses of Nicole Miller and Arnold Scaasi.  When Hassan started designing his own line of jewelry a few years ago, he combined both fashion jewelry elements and genuine gemstones.   He makes every piece by hand in his studio in NYC - I've had the chance to visit him there and it's thrilling to see him work.   HSN's Silver Gallery offers Hassan's creative work in sterling silver and gold vermeil.   Keep your eyes peeled as you will see his jewelry featured in many top magazines and worn by many famous women in the media.  I appreciate your feedback and hope this helps explain this unique, high-end, fashion jewelry designer and his work.

Hi Colleen, I purchased the Victoria Wieck starfish bracelet. Lovely bracelet. After trying it on I cannot remove it. My wrist now has black & blue marks all over it from trying to pry it off. I have just read other reviews of her bangle bracelets and this seems to be a reoccurring problem. Please contract Victoria so she can remove this piece of junk off of my wrist. I was looking at that lovely black and while bangle with the yellow stones from Joan Boyce, I wanted to buy it. But, it was too small. I notice that all her bangles are 6-1/2, which is too small for a lot of people. Can't she make them in two sizes? Otherwise, many people are left out.

Colleen, I am very small and I am having a problem finding jeans to fit me. I wanted to order the jeans from your favorite things but the sizes are just to big. The smallest size I could find was a 4. I have a size 25- 26 waist which is making it hard for me to find a pair of any jeans on hsn that will fit me. Hi Colleen: I hope you can help me. The last time that Jay King was on with you, I ordered the Jay King Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Ring which I love. However, I ordered a size 7 to wear on my Index finger which is what I normally wear. I need a size 8 in this ring, and I went on line and the only size available is a 5 or 6. I am stumped as to how to handle my beautiful Janice Dickerson Pearl and Clear stone Flower Ring. I have taken it to my jeweler twice to have the pearls re-glued. I wore it again today and you know the rest of the story.....ping went two of the pearls and I only found one. I wear a size 10 and there seem to be no more available. I HAVE to have that ring. I am a PEARL PRINCESS having visions of being reduced to a pathetic pearl wannabe!!!!

Hi Colleen, I was just about to leave my house on 8/21/2009 when I was getting ready to turn the TV off. Of course, HSN was on and I just loved that silky scarve like top you had on. I asked if there was someway of finding out about the top but Customer Service stated it was your own personal top. I have bought many items you have had replicated at a lower price. If you could replicate that top (black leopard silky scarf) I would purchase in a minute. Love love your choices. Thank you.

Hi Colleen, I love your shows and you explain and measure everything clearly. I wear 34D bra and have never found a bra that will hold my heavy bust up with any strapless bra. Hi Colleen, my question is for Nicky Butler. I have his Raj 58.60ct Ruby and Honey Quartz Bracelet. It's gorgeous, the problem is the toggle clasp. The bar on the toggle is too short. Every time I've worn it, the clasp comes undone & my bracelet falls to the floor. I'm really worried to loose it or if it falls on a hard surface I'm worried that the stones will be lost or broken. I paid over $200 & purchased the extended warranty. Please ask if he can replace the clasp with a lobster claw.

I have & love your original 'Prestige' multi-drawer jewelry box with see-through top in turquoise fabric. Need more, or at least anything in turquoise without a 'ring' area. Have ordered the attractive 'croc' # 478 for now. Also, I wish the box would have options of no ring area as I prefer to keep rings separately in the ring box. Perhaps the ring pillows could be removeable? Thank you for an excellent, useful, and attractive product.

Do you have or can you get Tanzanite from Pakistan? There is a short article on Google about it. I think you could get a jump on jewelry television if you could be first to announce this product since they are pushing tanzanite so much. I knew there must be something new concerning tanzanite since they were pushing it so much. I'm just an average person, if I can figure this out others must be able to also.

FYI - Just a comment - I love to seperate my silver and gold jewelry out in your jewelry boxes in the following way: All my gold jewelry - turquoise blue boxes. All my silver jewelry - black boxes. The turquoise reminds me of the little blue box store and the black boxes really makes my sterling jewelry stand out!

Question: What is Dichroic Glass? When i was a kid i had a ring my mother brought from Navaho Indians: Silver and a sort of clear rosie colored 'glass'(the back was open)however when moved this ring (oval) stone shown w. blue & purple - along w.rose. Loved this - lost it & always wanted to find again--Mother always called the 'stone' fire agate, but seeing yours i do not think that was it. Someone told me it was glass w. aluminum fired into it.?? For Loretta in Tenn., as far as clip on earrings, if an earring comes on a shepherd hook, you can easily change it to pierced. I had the same problem until I began making my own. You can get the conversion pieces very inexpensively at a good craft store, and certain lever backs and hoops can be done too , just pay attention if the earring has a way to attach on the other clip on earring. I suggest you buy at the craft store too an inexpensive set of jewelers tools to help clamp the new earring.

Hi Colleen - I am a big fan of Silver Gallery and love love love the Himalayan and Bali silver. But the rings are so huge they overwhelm my hand. I am not a small person but I just can't wear a lot of the rings that I see. I wish you could get rings in from these designers that were just a tad smaller. And I love some of your own designs like the turtle and mother of pearl ring but again the ring is huge.

I'd love to see more Technibond and Everyday Gold bracelets in 8 inch sizes. Plump people want pretties too! Why aren't there more size choices? I also think that those of us with short, stubby fingers need a greater choice of smaller dimension rings - 3/4 inch knuckle to knuckle is very big for me, I have difficulty with rings above 1/2 inch, as they are frequently uncomfortable. Very frustrating!

To Granny from Il., there are many designs in pieced earring that can be made very simply into clip. I make my own. For example if you have a shepherds hook type, you can go to a craft mall or jeweler and buy the piece to exchange out for the hoof. With a simple tool bought also at the craft store, you can easy manipulate the metal and make a clip. It is simple and you can buy a bag of the clips in silver or goldtone very cheaply. I now have a great collection to match anything. Rita

Also Colleen about the prestige boxes, how about a large one with several drawers (6) with small compartments for earrings, right now I have all my clips in plastic boxes from a craft store and would like to add the protection of the prestige. I have alot of jewelry and maybe 3 drawers could have small compartments for studs etc, then 3 with larger compartments for chandeliers , etc. I like the idea of the drawers like the watch boxes where you have one box instead of 6. Hi Colleen, I too love the prestige boxes. I probaly own 25 and I have an idea for one for bangles, for the skinny bangles they could go in a similar box designed for rings but deeper of course, with a fatter drawer on the bottom for large wide bangles and bracelets. Designed similarly like the watch boxes. The slots would keep the skinny bangles from touching and the drawer would accomodate the large wide ones. I also hope you keep making them in the original black with black lining. Thanks !

I ordered a fabulous fish and stone pendant, 307958. The silver fish, perfectly beautiful, across sitting above a large oval purple stone with 3 small stones around it. The oval stone looked darker in the pictures. I was trying to figure out a way for me to change out that long oval stone. I ordered the Nicky Butler Prehnite Marquise-shaped ring several months ago. I noticed that I can wiggle the prehnite stone a bit. What is holding a bezel-cut stone in a setting? I am stunned. I checked out the trunkshow, and I see a Bounkit Quartz and lemon Quartz GOLDTONE bracelet, Item: 373-482 for over $1,000! Why is a piece of jewelry, no matter how limited in quantity, priced that ridiculous amount, when the piece is not even made out of 14K gold? I'm at a loss to understand this. Maybe someone can clue me in as to the value of the piece. I noticed that there is not an appraised price noted either.

I just can't afford the silver gallery prices, particularly in these times. I would love to see more bold, Bali-style pieces, such as cuffs, in all silver (i.e., without or with only one or two gemstones. Love your Prestige boxes, also!

I absolutely adore SILVER, but I can't afford the prices in your gallery. One piece costs almost as much as my mortgage payment...just don't see the reality in offering these prices in this economy. Can you make some pieces that are $100 or less but still bold and beautifully crafted? I do, however, use and love your Prestige jewelry boxes (I even bought my Dad a small Prestige box for his sterling rings and he shows it off with pride to everyone!).
