I purchased this coin, and was sent a silver labeled one, not what I ordered. So I sent it back.Today I received replacement, and on the the green label, the words Silver Eagle are missing and the hologram all the back is different. I own a complete set of these coins graded by ICG, and this one is totally different from them. So save your time and shop somewhere else for this one.
Silver Eagles are minted at West Point. I expected to have a W mint mark on the coin, but no mint mark. Also I thought it would show BU brillant uncirculated in the ICG description, no indication that it was uncirculated. The coin would be worth more if it had a W and BU. I had to send coin back because it was not what I expected.
I ordered this coin specifically because it was minted at West Point, as the picture provided on the HSN website indicates. When I received the coin, not only did it not have the W for the West Point mint, it didn't have ANY mint symbol. Is this a fake? It's going back immediately. I lodged a complaint with HSN and they are unconcerned and only said “I’m sorry.” No concerns about the website showing one thing (the W) and the item I received showing nothing. No more shopping at HSN for me.
