A Fresh Start To 2009

Greetings to our Serious Skin Care customers – and a special Thank You to my entire Serious Team! The new year is well under way, and I am so thrilled with the exciting plans my crew and I have in the works for you and your SKIN!

I want to personally thank the Serious Team members that called in to the January and February shows for these exciting launches – your words and enthusiasm regarding the products – particularly the Night Trio and HydraPixel meant the WORLD to me and my team. Special thanks to Lezlee, Judy, Valerie, Linda, Cheryl, Ilene, Dena and Lisa – keep your calls coming!

It’s so gratifying to see how you have responded to our NEW product introductions in January and February. Marlene from Wisconsin: I am so glad you brought up the Targeted Night Trio – the response to this evening regimen was incredible. We will see the Targeted Night Trio back, and YES, available on AutoShip during the April shows.

R in Utah: You asked about a good product that is comparable to our fading cream – a product that will help you brighten the appearance of your skin. Lorraine from Massachusetts had a similar question – what to use to address brown and age spots. Melissa from Rhode Island: Thank you for your post. You expressed concern over what to use for your acne prone skin. Hi Jennifer Just wanted to wish you a happy, happy and healthy birthday year including happy and healthy for your wonderful family too! I've just bought the Reverse Life trio...I'm 77 years old...any suggestions for sagging skin. I've tried Calstrum but I break out. I suppose at 77 I should be happy to be healthy myself!!!

Jennifer, Around 11:25 last night, as I was laying on the couch recuperating from a brain surgery, I tuned in to HSN and you happened to be on the air. I was fighting to stay awake waiting on your 14th anniversary special and it's worth it. I've been using the C-Wrinkle Resurface & C Potion for years and love it so much. I started using Serious Skincare about 5 years ago. It was the first thing I've ever ordered from HSN. I started using it and couldn't believe the compliments I started getting on my skin. It was a great New Years kit that included makeup as well as skincare (mostly from vitamin A line, DNA line and one c product). One product that was in there that i LOVED was the face self tanner under the C line. That was amazing!!!! I didn't need to wear makeup when I wore it. I haven't seen it in a w

Jennifer, I began using SSC 11 years ago with the glycolic cleanser. This is still my favorite product. My son was four at the time and I used the cleanser to clean his face as well and I was amazed that it worked so well. I had trouble finding a good cleanser for him due to his age. I love other products as well, including the To You With Love perfumed body souffle. I would love it, if this could be sold individually. My husband thanks you for it, he loves the scent on me. The Replicate and Renew product is great. But........the packaging is terrrible. I have auto ship, but I don't want to get another jar until it is changed. The reviews on this product show there is a definitely a problem with the current packaging. Will you be addressing this issue in the near future?

I am over 50 with oily skin and use the glycolic cleanser and continouusly clear moisturizer. But I need a sun screen also. The new nano A with suncreeen is too oily and has petroleum in it. Will there be something new coming up, maybe combined with something to replace the copper A which you are discontinuing. Drugstore sunscreens are more afforable but also are too oily for daily use.

Please Please jennifer, bring back the products we all fell in love with ssc over, the original A, glycolic daytime moisturizer, DNA, tinted moisturizer classic, all these fabulous products are falling by the wayside, to bring in the new, while i like to try the new i always go back to the original products, some of us cant use the newer version of the A, and just prefer the older products, and please do the fun kits agin with added things like dna, masks on a regular basis.

Hello Jennifer, I am a big fan and USER of Prominerals makeup. It took a bit of practice, but I have learned how to apply the loose powder eyeliner, eye shadows, concealer and blush. Of course, I also use the Promineral foundation. I use the foundation over the Hydrapixel. It gives my 50+ skin a beautiful natural finish. I would like to make an appeal for my favorite lipstick color - plum. I hope that you can consider keeping it in the line as it is a great neutral color. Thank you

I would like to know if you still offer the A cleanser that is light blue in color and creamy, not the gel? I was given a small pump bottle of this creamy cleanser by my mother-in-law and it was so gentle on my skin and made it feel so soft. I have the A wash gel with peptides and it's not the same, it dries out my skin.

Jennifer I have used many of your products for yrs and some of them have been staples in my life such as the SS Classic Tinted moisturizer in champange & when you came out with the new packaging the formula was not the same.Didn't like the new & therefore started getting it directly from your factory.They are out of it now &said you would no longer have it was discontinuing the new one also.I have been searching all over the internet looking for the Classic.Bring it back.

I've been using the Liquid Laser Gentle Hair Remover for the past several years. I noticed that the product wasn't as effective as it use to be right after the packaging changed. In the past I could use the product on my arms and be hair free for about 3 weeks. Now I can feel stubble the following day. Is it me or has the product changed?

Hydrapixel is wonderful. Keeps my dry Colorado skin hydrated all day. Please consider adding SPF. I have to put suncreen under the hydrapixel so I can go outside in the mile high sun. It would save me an extra step. Thank you for a great product!

My question is am I doing something wrong as I have not noticed any difference in my skin. Jennifer, THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!! For the first time in about 20 years, I have clear skin. It took me a few weeks to get the right routine of my products down, but once I did, I have not have a huge breakout. And when one starts, it is stopped almost instantly. My skin's texture is soft and my complexion hasn't been like this since before I was a teenager. So thank you for your Continuously Clear and A lines. Your mineral make up is also a keeper. So far, everything I have tried, I LOVE.

If you and SSC could make some changes to your packaging that would be great. More environmentally friendly packaging that uses less plastics. Products like the new Replicate & Renew Plant Stem Cell Cream are way over-packaged and use too much plastic, which in turn, harms the environment and makes the product more costly to produce.

Hi Jennifer, many of us would like you to bring back the original A and C, you promised to always keep these available, but they arent now, i know you have to use newer technology, i like to try them out as well, but i have used ssc for many years and after several weeks of the new A nano my skin is horribly dry , and i need the A products but my skin cant handle this one, so i dont know what to do now, have used the other 2 previous formulations with no problems.

I started useing your C kit and really like it. My skin is badly damage as I was raise in Florida and at the beach everyday. My face from the nose down to the chin is badly wrinkled. You Vit. Love all your products. I would really like to see the pro mineral kits with the option of getting the foundation or not. I am on the auto ship for this kit, but now I have have several and I do mean several foundations that I will never be able to use. I would likt to see kits for the eye shadow and blushes. Along with a kit that includes all your brushes. Now on to the olive oil soap. Do not like the new one. Smell to much like soap. Loved the old ones(the round bars) the best.

Have you changed the medium in the Prominerals foundation? I opened one I had from a previous order and it was a lighter color and seemed shiny. I also just received the Spring Collection and it looks the same but have not used that one yet. They both look lighter then the original one I got when I went on autoship. Has anyone else noticed?

LOVE your products!! Have been a customer for 11 yrs. You have the best products, but they do not need the fancy pkg. I refer to Replicate and Renew. The lid is hard to remove and replace. HI! I USE THE MINERALS POWDER, AND JUST LOVE THE SATINY FINISH. I JUST TRIED THE RENEW, AND ONLY USING IT FOR 3 DAYS. IT DID TAKE SOME OF THE REDNESS AWAY. I just received the Hydra Pixel formula. I LOVE IT! It goes on so smooth and has such great coverage. You look so natural but better. I also love the bronzer you have. Unfortunately, the same items I loved from one kit are totally different in the next one. I do not like surprises in my skin-care. hi jennifer, I need your help.Since entering my mid to late 30's my pores seem to be growing in size and number every day. I have also started getting a lot of pimples. All these products on hsn addresses lines on the skin but nothing i know of deals with pores. Please help me I don't know what else to try. Just wanted to thank jennifer and ssc for helping me find a skin care line I can stay with, have been thinking about starting a skin care regimen. Have had my eyes water when I used a c line from another line I bought from hsn. ( actually two) so I havent used anything since even canceled my other auto ship from a line my mother may have used.I was burned about five years ago so I do not like feeling greasy, ive never experianced that with the round the clock that I bought.

Jennifer I just ordered your vitamin c skin care kit and I am awaiting the new cream with plant cell technology. I just noticed as I read the ingredients that there are parabens in most of them. I was a little disappointed with all the inforation today saying they are not good for your skin. Are you planning on taking them out of the products? I have been trying to hard to avoid them and was hoping with this purchase that your line did not contain them. Please advise. Thank you.

I just bought the Beauty Book, which is my first purchase from SSC. So far, I like everything, but am totally confused about what products I can use together. Perhaps a schedule regimen of what to use when could be included in your instruction book. Your products say twice a day, or nighttime, but I don't know which ones go first and which ones will not work if they are put on top of another product. If there is a place to find this information, please let me know where to go to find it.

thank-you! thank-you! for having and creating products that do exactly what you say they will do. let me give you an example. my face used to be so red that i look like i was kin to barney the lovable dinosaur. i got your C EXTREME RESULTS home and used them right then and then poof NO MORE REDNESS. it literally took away all the redness and dead skin cells away. you and SSC are the only skin care line i trust. jennifer, you can tell your husband that his book was a god-sent advice on my body.

Hello! I am brand new to SSC and purchased the A Nano line and the Replicate and Renew cream, which goes on like silk!! I have a question, maybe silly but I am really not sure. The A Wash cleanser came in my kit and since it has the Vitamin A in it, is it ok to use around the eye area? I really like the idea of using only 1 cleanser. If not, which cleanser is a good whole face cleanser? Please help me out someone!! thanks!!!

Hi Jennifer, I spoke with you the last time you were on and told you how much I loved the Olive Oil products but I did not get to tell you how much I loved the Glowbrasion! I bought the trio and I love them except for the scent of the nightcream. I am just one of those people that can't have too much scent or I can't take it, but other than that I loved the trio and the glowbrasion works wonders on my skin. I ordered the Hydrapixel and am awaiting it's arrival, keep up the good work! Love you!

First of all, your products are amazing!!! I have been using them for a year now and what a difference and many people have asked me what I use because they have noticed the difference. I converted a couple of hockey wives from those $200 and $300 jars of cream to the C Ester products and they are loving them and see the difference as well.

Hi Jen & Cece - Just a comment to let you know that I absolutely love your products! My favorites are the glycolic cleanser, firming pads (please put more liquid in them so they stay moist or change packaging), and the dry-lo! All the glycolic line is amazing, though. Perhaps a Glycolic Package w/: cleanser, pads, renewal gel, mask, glyco-youth mois. & dry-lo would be awesome! Cannot believe what a difference I see in my skin - never stop, you're helping so many people, we love you!

I am trying your A-Cream line, Super C-Mel, Replicate and Renew, Mineral eye, day and night,a few odds and ends from the Serious skin line. I just recieved the Hyda Pixel. I have dark sun spots across my cheeks and have not found a product that addresses that issue. Do you have anything in your line that will address the sun spots to lessen its appearance?

i love the glycolic cleanser and masks..they help control adult acne..since i hit 35 ive been having skin issues..however..i really want to try the retinol line and rulinia due to slight wrinkling im noticing..but the ingredients have oils in them..i would love for jennifer to come out with an oil/free(non-comedogenic) retinal..any possible hope for that in the future???

I have used so many of your wonderful products for 10 years now and was a bit upset and dismayed by the discontinuation of the wonderful A Copper Line.Your online reviews for these products are phenominal.I am 59 years old and still have boughts with adult acne breakouts and there are no better products for this problem than these especially in the summer.Please dont discontinue and give it some air time.Not everyone has a computer and dont know they exist.Go with what brought you to the dance.

Hey Jennifer!! I am so loving the new Olive Oil Daily Body Milk Whole Body Olive Moisturizer along with the Body Wash from the last OO TS....I have to say, the body milk has to be one of the best body lotions I have ever used! That being said, is it possible to make more of the olive oil line unscented or have the option to buy scented or unscented?? I'm sure there are more ladies like myself that are highly sensitive to scented skincare. Thanks for being so opened to requests!!

Come on Jennifer us old broads want to use makeup too, especially since we have been doing it for so long! Serious Skin care user for years.I started w/the glycolic cleaners when you 1st started on HSN.It helped my acne!I wish I had this in my teens.This would have helped by confidence issues due to the acne. Like many SSC users I purchase kits and discover different products from time to time---fall in love with them and so my regimine changes. I am searching for the glucosamine products especially the souffle! It is fabulous and I want to purchase more ---strange, since I have somewhat oily skin, I didn't think I would like those products --of course I have loved the scrub forever! Please keep this line! The souffle is wonderful on my neck area and hands!

Hi Jennifer, love your products,but can you bring us a firmming body cream without perfume, or very lightly scented the reverse lift is just to strong smelling, always haver to throw it out and i need a firmming body cream. Also could use some hand creams in tubes. Thanks for all you do! Also need the classic tinted moisturizer to return, it really is the best and i have used them all.

Hi SSC Team. I am a loyal SSC user and would like to add my voice for the 6 Week Glycolic Peel, the CLASSIC Tinted Moisturizer and thank you again for bringing back the EMU and ALOE Cream in June! These are all classics, and should remain in your line. They do wonders for the skin! Even this makeup does! I have never used a tinted moisturzer like it. I love the HydraPixel and yesterday put some on my neck and decollette as I was wearing a v-neck shirt, and wow...I was impressed.

my favorite ssc product is the 6 week glycolic peel. i have sensitive skin, and this product did not irritate at all, but left my skin clearer,softer, with small pores and a better texture and more even color. i have resorted to buying it on ebay, but they are running out. please bring back this product. i owe my 50 year old young looking skin to it. please jennifer, bring it back!

I have tried allot of Serious Skin Care products but so far the only line I've been able to use is the Glucosamine line. I believe in the products as I've had many friends try them and they are so happy with the results. However, my skin has gotten red and irritated by all but the glocosamine line. It is a great line, but at age 56 my skin is needing a bit more. Any suggestions?

I think the Olive Oil line is by far the best, only because I tend to get dry during the winter and spring months. I tend to use something else during the summer months. (I'm a natural kind of gal). But one thing I can't figure out with the Olive Oil cleanser, and I'm sure others have experienced this, what could possibly be causing our lips and tongue to go numb? Sometimes it burns my eyes; I usually wash with lukewarm water to make sure all traces of the cleanser is gone. Ideas?

I ordered the SSC Kissable lip collection and hated it. The colors were terrible and the lipstick was not smooth or creamy. I would not order this again. I gave them away. I ordered the 24 hour Regimen II kit. The make-up is smooth. It goes on my face nicely. I use your mineral kit and I like it a lot.
